Paul Smith

Brief: Devise a witty, innovative and stylish press advertising campaign to promote one of the Paul Smith collections.

I looked at Paul Smith's mainline men's collection, which this season was called 'Cricket Rock', based on a photograph of Mick Jagger at a cricket match in 1967. I took a quintessentially English theme for the lookbook, but also wanted to include Paul Smith's collecting and hoarding addiction and his love for hidden detail. I chose to use gate folds as a way of separating the different themes of the collection. I used my inspiration behind the lookbook to develop onto other merchandising.
