Wine Bottle Design Lets You And Three Friends Share A Glass

Wine Bottle Design Lets You And Three Friends Share A Glass

California-based company Stacked Wines offers a change from the traditional wine bottle, with four individually-sealed containers stacked on top of each other. Founded by Matt Zimmer, Doug Allan and Jodi Wynn (classmates from UC Irvine’s business school) the company’s unique design is marketed as the perfect wine solution for a picnic, hike, festival, camping trip or boat ride. Consumers are free from the hassle of a bottle, corkscrew or stemware, and they could be sold at venues that don’t permit glass.
New Bottle Design Separates Wine Into A Four-Pack Stack
Stacked Wines’ “Vinoware” container is meant to resemble the look and feel of stemless wine glasses. It is made of high-quality recyclable plastic, which is shatterproof, lightweight, and protects wine from oxidation and spoilage. The container comes stacked in a four-pack and each 187ml glass can snap apart and fit back together.

Stacked Wines currently offers a signature Merlot and Chardonnay, which provide the same amount of wine as a traditional bottle (750ml). A Pinot Grigio is being released before the summer, followed by a Cabernet Sauvignon by the fall. They are all priced at $14.99 per four-pack stack. Stacked Wines is available to buy online and plans to be in stores throughout California later this year before going nationwide.
